Have you heard of the Disney Cruise Line? These are just some of what they offer: live Disney shows, “meet and greet” with the Disney characters, children’s clubs and adult-only sites as well. None of those sound good? Well, okay. What films premiere at the theater on board?
Are your kids looking to get away from their parents geek? Not a problem. From a Little Mermaid-themed Kids Vibe, a place where 14 to 17 years can relax and listen to music, watching TV or playing video games latest and greatest, children should be able to find whatever it is like, regardless of age.
I read about the Disney Cruise Line in the Telegraph, and I must say, it sounded pretty impressive. I mean, the only thing missing that I thought was Zach and Cody, but as much as Disney Hotel? I would not be so quick to rule out, either.
Each cruise Disney has approximately 950 employees representing more than 60 nations and one can be sure it will be well attended because there is a partner of Disney for every three passengers. There are several cruise lines to choose from. The dream of Disney can be a good option for those of us in the U.S., and departs from Florida. It also offers water slide AquaDuck which bills itself as the “mountain of water” for the first time on a cruise. Sounds like a blast, because it gives brave enough to participate in all kinds of twists and turns, and that eventually extends beyond the ship itself (whoa) and culminates in a four-story fall. (I recommend that before lunch, so worth it.)
So my family and enjoy a cruise? Hard to say. I’m sure my 9 year old would be it. She watches a lot of Disney Channel and given all that the cruise lines offer, I bet she would find real value in it. My wife and I?
Although I never say never, we’re not really people cruising. We like a little more control over our holiday. Although Disney we offer the full range of options the family, I have a feeling we’d get cabin fever.
That said, I am fully aware that there are many people who love cruises. Are you one of them, and you have a great family vacation planned for this summer, you really should consider looking into the Disney Cruise Lines. Who knows? You could end up having the time of his life. (Assuming you are kidnapped by Captain Hook.)
