Senate Shoots Down Controversial Ryan Budget & President Obama’s Plan, Too

Senate Democrats today put their fellow Republicans on the record regarding the budget proposal by Rep. Paul Ryan in the upper house of Congress rejected the controversial plan that would overhaul Medicare. In a procedural vote this evening, five Republican senators opposed the budget of Ryan: Scott Brown, of Massachusetts, Susan Collins of Maine, Olympia Snowe of Maine, Paul Rand of Kentucky, and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
